1) My (Doris) contract will end in April. There isn’t much funding around for research these days and only one group in Switzerland doing Huntington’s disease! What is the future like?
2) Pray for our spiritual life and can find a place where we can grow.
3) Praying for our future whether to stay long term or not. If yes, what is the next step? Get a house?
4) No time for learning French at all! Need to get motivated!
5) Mum doesn’t like Hong Kong – well doesn’t change anything if Dad is the only who is taking care of mum. It is too difficult for mum and too much burden for dad. Is it possible to get them over here?
6) Katherine (Doris’s youngest sister) is travelling (some working) in Europe for 3 months – hope all go well!
Hi Leo & Doris,
Great to visit your blog and see your nice pictures and the beautiful sceneries. Isn’t it nice to be able to visit such fantastic places! I’ll pray for Leo’s job search.
If you could also remember CBC in your prayers, 24 Dec will be a busy day with lots of fun and outreach activities. Starting at 3pm, we’ll have a street cafe in the front of the church, free sausage sizzle and drinks; in the car park we’ll have fete game stalls with a marquee; in the fellowship hall there’ll be wii games and a seniors corner with food, drinks and newspaper.
6pm will be Christmas Eve dinner, followed by carolling in Chinatown at 7.30; then carolling at the church front steps at 8pm, then worship at 8.30pm.
We also have 3 hours of carolling in World Square opposite CBC last Saturday. Thankfully God has given us lots of talents. We miss you too. I’ll be in HK from 30 Dec to 29 Jan for holiday. Take care and God bless.
