Graduation and Mothers’ day

May 14th, 2008 by Doris

Last Friday was Katherine’s graduation from Bsc-Medical science (Pharmacology). I was the camera lady as I was for CT last year. I had to get up early and be there by 8am. The weather wasn’t so great that day and was raining like cats and dogs. Thank God that it stopped for the pocession and we managed to march down to the town hall without getting wet. We then met up with mum, dad, CT, KT and leo for Yum cha. Mum’s condition was good that day and we were happy that she could come out for yum cha and had photos with Kat at Albert park afterward. Since I had to go back to the lab at 3pm, I couldn’t go to kat’s ceremony. CT went instead and took pictures for her. She missed Kat’s capping but took Emma’s! haha

At night – We took Leo’s parents to Erawan for dinner to celebrate Mothers’ day and her birthday. We had some entree to start with then followed by 2 curries and a stir fried dish. They were quite nice actually and everybody seems to enjoy it very much. Leo also bought a bouquet for his mum and she was very happy to receive it. Leo loves and cares for his parents very much and I can see his parents are always very pleased to see him.

On Saturday night, we went out with Kat for her graduation dinner @ Mikano. We have yummy food!

After dinner, we went to Langham for a coffee. The hot chocolate is huge!
